Saran, Bihar: Demonstrating prompt response and professional investigation, Bihar Police successfully solved two separate theft cases reported under the jurisdiction of Sahajitpur Police Station.
In Sahajitpur P.S. Case No. 24/26 dated 03.02.2026, a complainant had withdrawn ₹3,65,000 from a bank and kept the cash in the trunk of his motorcycle, from where it was stolen by unknown miscreants. In a similar incident under Case No. 37/26 dated 10.02.2026, another victim withdrew ₹1,00,000 and kept it in his motorcycle trunk, which was subsequently stolen along with important bank documents.
Taking both incidents seriously, the police constituted a special investigation team. Through swift technical analysis, field inquiry, and coordinated efforts, the team successfully cracked both cases and recovered a total of ₹4,65,000 in stolen cash. The timely detection and recovery have been widely appreciated and reflect the commitment of Bihar Police to ensuring public safety and swift justice.
