Rachakonda: On, Tuesday, 27th September, Rachakonda CP Mr. Mahesh Bhagwat IPS has paid rich floral tributes to renowned Telangana freedom fighter Mr. Konda Laxman Bapuji on the eve of his birth anniversary, at Rachakonda Police Commissionerate, Neredmet.
Addressing the occasion, the CP stated that Konda Laxman Bapuji has played significant role in Quit India Movement 1942. Freedom fighter Konda Laxman Bapuji is a pride of Telangana. He will always be remembered for his active role in Telangana movement.
In the Telangana struggle in 1969 he was an activist and a leader resigning from Minister post.
The CP said that Laxman Bapuji strived hard for the rights of the downtrodden people as a lawyer and fought for the Telangana state as a leader. CP stated that the people of Telangana will always remember his active participation and selfless services during the Telangana Armed Peasant Struggle and in the formation of Telangana state.
Addl DCP Admin Ms. Narmada, staff and other officers of Rachakonda Police Commissionerate were also present on the occasion.
