Hyderabad: The Telangana government on Wednesday April 13 issued orders raising the age limit for large-scale police recruitment in the state. The latest order raises the upper age limit of candidates to 3 years. This means that the relaxation will apply to candidates applying for posts in the Uniform Services such as Police, Excise, Fire, Prison and Forest. It is learned that this year the Telangana Chief Minister KCR has announced that 80,039 jobs will be created. In this context, the Telangana Cabinet on Tuesday decided to relax the age limit for candidates for police recruitment by 3 years. The government has taken this decision at the request of job seekers across the state. The Telangana government today issued official orders following the cabinet decision.
