Telangana: DGP Jitender stated that a total of 2,34,158 cases have been reported in Telangana this year. He noted that 1,942 drug-related cases were registered, with drugs worth Rs.142.50 crore seized. He assured that, apart from one or two incidents, law and order in the state remains under control. He further disclosed a 9.87% overall increase in reported cases for 2024.
