Hyderabad, Telangana: In a decisive step toward combating drug trafficking, the Telangana Anti-Narcotics Bureau organized a high-level coordination meeting with central enforcement agencies and representatives from seven states, including Andhra Pradesh, Goa, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Kerala. The meeting was held at the TGICC Mini Conference Hall, Banjara Hills.
Director General of Police (DGP) Jitender emphasized Telangana’s zero-tolerance policy on narcotics and underlined the critical need for enhanced inter-state cooperation, intelligence sharing, and border surveillance to disrupt drug networks.
Senior officers, including Director Sandeep Sandilya and DIGs from participating states, deliberated on strategies for synchronized operations, joint training programs, and monitoring of financial transactions linked to drug cartels.
The meeting concluded with a strong commitment to coordinated enforcement, mutual support, and proactive policing to safeguard society from the drug menace. Telangana continues to take the lead in fostering regional collaboration for a drug-free future.
