Punjab, Amritsar, May 6, 2025: In a significant blow to ISI-backed cross-border terror networks, the State Special Operation Cell (SSOC), Amritsar, in coordination with central agencies, successfully recovered a cache of terrorist hardware in an intelligence-led operation conducted in the forested region near Tibba Nangal–Kular Road, SBS Nagar.
The items recovered are 2 Rocket-Propelled Grenades (RPGs), 2 Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), 5 P-86 Hand Grenades, and 1 Wireless Communication Set.
Preliminary investigations suggest the recovery is linked to a coordinated effort by Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and affiliated terrorist organizations aiming to reactivate dormant sleeper cells in Punjab.
A case has been registered under the relevant sections of law at Police Station State Special Operation Cell (SSOC), Amritsar.
The Punjab Police reaffirmed its commitment to protecting national security and dismantling terror infrastructure across the state, emphasizing that strict action will continue against all elements attempting to destabilize peace.
