Uttarakhand, Pithoragarh: In preparation for the upcoming festivals of Holi and Ramzan, Thal Police Station, under the direction of Superintendent of Police Pithoragarh, Mrs. Rekha Yadav, and led by Station In-charge Mr. Shankar Singh Rawat, organized a peace and harmony seminar to ensure communal harmony, peace, and law and order in the region.
The seminar saw active participation from dignitaries of various communities, local traders, Vyapar Mandal officials, CLG members, and prominent citizens, along with the station’s police personnel. During the session, attendees voiced their concerns and suggestions, which were duly addressed. All present were urged to uphold peace and lawfulness during the festivities.
Additionally, traders, shopkeepers, and business establishment owners were specifically instructed to keep their CCTV cameras operational. The police also issued a stern warning, emphasizing that miscreants will face strict action without exception.
