Tirur: Tirur SI Mr. Jaleel Karutheedam and his colleagues rescued the girl who fell into the well while talking on the phone. A young woman who had come to see the famous Vairankode temple festival fell into a well when the phone came on while she was watching the festival.
The accident occurred while she was trying to stay away from the rush and talk of the crowd. The woman, who hails from Ernakulam, slipped and fell into a well. Fortunately, the mobile phone did not give up. Finally, from the same phone, the young woman called her relatives and informed them about her falling into the well.
It was a roadblock and the firefighters were delayed. Immediately, they went to the rescue and organized a few ropes. The people who moved there were evacuated. There was water in the well in which she had fallen.
By then, the fire department had arrived. With the help of their escort, they went down to the well and hurried the woman out. The woman was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The Chief Minister Mr. Pinarayi Vijayan congratulated Mr. Jalil Karuthaedam SI and his colleagues who saved the girl through a Facebook post. The Chief Minister said that he was a good example for us in the event of a crisis.
