Chennai: Chakkarapani (65), a resident of Manali, Chennai, lodged a complaint on 11.5.2022 at the Manali Police Station alleging that the person who left home on his two-wheeler on the morning of 10.5.2022 had not returned home and that he was missing. The investigation was carried out. In this case, the missing father Chakkarapani was not found in many places by his son Nagendran. Nagendran, On 13.5.2022, Nagendran found his father Chakkarapani’s two-wheeler at the door of the house of a person known to Chakrapani in Raipuram and Nagendran went to the house and approached the woman.
When inquired about his father, the woman in the house had sent Nagendran out arguing that he had not come here. There was a stench emanating from the house and therefore the house was suspicious. Nagendran than complained to the Raipuram police station. When the police team led by the Inspector of Raiyapuram Police Station visited the house mentioned by Nagendran on Grace Garden Street, Raipuram, it was found that there was nobody in the house and the body of the man was found in the house and there was a shirt band worn by Chakrapani next to it. The body was seized and sent to a hospital for autopsy and the investigation was done.
Further, the police team led by the Inspector of Police arrested Wasim Pasha (36) and his sister Tamim Banu (39) who was staying at the house where the body was found and they were interrogated.
During the investigation, Chakrapani, who lived in Manali, Selva Ganesha Temple, ran a Pancy Stores shop there and lent money at interest in the name of accounting, about 3 years ago to Tamimpanu and his brother. When Wasim Pasha was living in the area near Chakrapani’s house in Manali, Tamimpanu was introduced to Chakrapani on loan and when Chakrapani went to Tamimbanu’s house in Raipuram on 10.05.2022 and asked for money, the two got into an argument. Then Chakrapani grabbed Tamimbanu’s hand and spoke inappropriate words, when Tamimpanu’s brother Wasimbasha pushed Chakrapani, Chakrapani hit his head on the wall and immediately Vasimbasha and Tamimbanu came inside the house with a knife and stabbed Chakrapani to death.
In this case, it was revealed that Tamimbanu and Wasim Pasha, an auto driver named Dillibabu, who lives on the 2nd floor of the house where Tamimpanu lives, agreed to help cover the body when they were asked to help cover the body.
In this connection, a murder case was registered at the Raipuram police station and the 3 accused persons were arrested. Court action is being taken against the said accused persons.
