Thrissur City: Traffic control will be implemented in and around Thrissur city from 3:00 PM on 13.10.2024 due to an RSS campaign. Parking will be prohibited on Swaraj Round and nearby roads from the morning.

Buses from the eastern regions such as Palakkad and Peachey must turn left at Pulikan Market Center and head to Shaktan Tampuran Stand via Mission Hospital Front, Fatima Nagar, ITC Junction, Ikandawarrier Road, and return via Mission Quarters, Kattukaran Junction, Shavakota, and Fatima Nagar Junction.

Buses from Mandamangalam, Puttur, and Valakav should turn left from Fatima Nagar ITC Junction and proceed to Shaktan Tampuran Stand via Ikandawaryar Road, returning the same way. Buses from Mannuthi should turn right from East Kota and head to Vadakkestan via Bishop’s Palace, Chembookav, Ramanilayam, Ashwani Junction, and return via Stadium Junction.

Buses from Mukkatukkara and Nellankara should turn right at Bishop’s Palace, proceed to North Stand via Chembookav Junction, Ramanilayam, and Ashwani Junction, and return via Indore Stadium Junction. Buses from Chelakkara, Vadakkancherry, Ottapalam, Pasayannur, and Thiruvilwamala should reach Peringaon, then proceed to Vadakkestanz via Kolothumpadam Road and Ashwani Junction, and return to their usual routes.

Buses from Medical College, Athani, and Kottekkad should reach Peringaon and proceed to the North Station via Kolothumpadam Road, Ashwani Junction, and return. Buses from Cherur Pallimula, Matampuram, and Kundukkad should reach Town Hall Junction via Balabhavan, turn right, and proceed to North Stand via Ramanilayam, Indoor Stadium Junction, Ashwani Junction, and return via Indoor Stadium Junction.

Buses from Kunnamkulam, Kozhikode, and Guruvayur via Poonkunnam should end their route at Poonkunnath and return via Ayanthol Civil Line, Ayanthol Ground, and Lulu Junction. Buses from Vattanapilly, Anthikad, and Kanjani via West Fort should turn from West Fort via Calvary Road and end their route at Toppin Moola, Netaji Ground, returning via West Fort.

Buses from Kodungallur, Irinjalakuda, and Triprayar via Kurkancheri should turn right at Balya Junction and enter Shaktan Tampuran Stand, returning via Kannam Kulangara and Chiiyaram. Vehicles will not be allowed to enter Shaktan Stand from Kannamkulangara Kasturba Hospital Junction.

Small vehicles from Kodungallur, Irinjalakuda, and Triprayar heading to Manuthi via Koorkancheri should take the right from Koorkancheri through Chiiyaram. Small vehicles heading to West Fort from Kanimangalam or Chiiyaram should take a U-turn at Nedupuzha Police Station and proceed via Vadukkara and Thopinmula. Nedupuzha Police Station Road will be one-way during this period.

All Coorkanchery-bound light vehicles coming via Jubilee Junction should turn via Mission Quarters and Bishop Alappad Road, passing through Cemetery Road and Chiiyaram Junction. KSRTC buses heading to Angamaly, Chalakudy, and Iringalakuda will operate from a temporary bus stand at Shaktan Tampuran Stand. Buses to Ernakulam should avoid Swaraj Round.

Private vehicles are advised to avoid Thrissur city on this day unless absolutely necessary, to help ease traffic congestion. This has been given by Station House Officer, Traffic Enforcement Unit, Thrissur City.
