Thrissur City: On the occasion of the 78th Independence Day, the Thrissur City Police is launching a Reels competition as part of their ongoing anti-drug initiatives. This competition aims to engage college and school students from various districts in raising awareness about drug abuse. Participants are required to create a reel of less than one minute on the theme “Freedom from Drugs.”
To enter the competition, students must prepare a reel that creatively and effectively conveys the message of drug-free living. The reel should be submitted as a document to the WhatsApp number 9946065757. Along with the reel, participants must provide their address, phone number, the name of their college or school, and their class and division. The deadline for submissions is August 13, 2024.
A panel of judges will review all the entries and select the top three reels based on creativity, relevance to the theme, and overall impact. The creators of the winning reels will be honored by the Thrissur City Police Commissioner with a memento and a certificate of recognition. Additionally, the winning reels will be prominently displayed on the social media platforms of the Thrissur City Police, allowing a wider audience to appreciate the students’ efforts and the important message they are promoting.
This initiative not only provides a platform for students to showcase their creativity but also plays a crucial role in spreading awareness about the dangers of drug abuse and the importance of living a drug-free life. Through this competition, the Thrissur City Police hopes to inspire young minds to contribute to the fight against drug addiction and foster a safer, healthier community.
