Thrissur City: The Thrissur City Police emerged victorious in the final of the football match organized by the Thrissur City Police to commemorate World Anti-Drug Day, promoting the message ‘Life is not drug.’ Teams from the Thrissur City Police, Thrissur Corporation, Thrissur Press Club, and Excise Thrissur Division participated in the competition.
City Police Commissioner Ilango RAPS inaugurated the matches at the Corporation Stadium, delivering an anti-drug message and performing the kick-off. He also distributed prizes to the winners and participating teams. Additional SP Biju K. Stephen, Special Branch ACP K. A. Thomas, District Crime Branch ACP Manojkumar R., Thrissur Corporation Health Standing Committee Chairman T. K. Shajan, Excise Assistant Commissioner P. K. Satish, Thrissur Press Club President O. Radhika, and SBA Regional Manager Ananthanarayanan were present at the event. SA Vinayachandran welcomed the attendees, Narcotics Cell Assistant Sub-Inspector Saneeshbabu congratulated the team members, and Thrissur Corporation Councilor Rahul Nath expressed gratitude.
