Mysuru, Karnataka: In view of the upcoming Assembly elections in the state of Tamil Nadu, the police have intensified security measures along the Karnataka–Tamil Nadu border. On 26-03-2026, special checking operations were conducted at the Ardhanaripura, Nall Road, and Punajanur check posts to monitor suspicious vehicles and individuals.
The initiative reflects the proactive efforts of the police to ensure law and order, prevent any unlawful activities, and facilitate a safe and peaceful electoral process. Enhanced vigilance and systematic inspections demonstrate the commitment of the police force towards maintaining security and public confidence during the election period.
