Tikamgarh, Madhya Pradesh, July 13: In a commendable display of prompt action and efficient policing, the Tikamgarh Police successfully rescued a kidnapped 15-year-old boy within 24 hours of the complaint being lodged and safely reunited him with his family.
Acting under the direct guidance of Superintendent of Police Shri Manohar Singh Mandloi, Additional Superintendent of Police Shri Sitaram Sasatya, and SDOP Tikamgarh Shri Rahul Katre, the case was handled swiftly and decisively by Police Station In-charge Upendra Chari and his team at Kotwali Police Station.
The case began on July 9, 2025, when a distressed parent reported that his 15-year-old son, who had left for school on July 8 at 8:00 AM, had not returned home. After unsuccessful attempts by the family to trace him through neighbors and relatives, a formal complaint was lodged at the police station. Given the sensitivity and urgency of the matter, a case was registered under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
Recognizing the seriousness of the situation, a special investigation team was immediately constituted. Working on a war footing, the team used technical surveillance tools and informer networks to trace the boy’s location. Their dedicated efforts bore fruit as the missing boy was safely located and rescued within 24 hours of the report being filed.
The boy was subsequently handed over to his family in safe condition, bringing immense relief to the parents and local community.
SP Shri Manohar Singh Mandloi praised the swift and professional response of the investigating team and reaffirmed Tikamgarh Police’s commitment to citizen safety, particularly in cases involving minors. He emphasized that the department remains alert and fully equipped to respond to such critical incidents with speed, sensitivity, and precision.
