Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu: As part of the ongoing awareness initiatives against corruption, Tirunelveli District Superintendent of Police, Mr. N. Silambarasan, IPS, led the Anti-Corruption Pledge Program at the District Police Office. Police personnel and ministerial staff participated in large numbers and took a solemn pledge to uphold integrity in public service.
Speaking on the occasion, SP Silambarasan emphasized that corruption remains a major obstacle to the nation’s economic, political, and social progress. He urged all sections of society to work collectively to eradicate corruption and promote transparency in governance.
The Superintendent of Police administered the pledge stating that every citizen must remain vigilant, honest, and committed to ethical conduct, refraining from accepting or giving bribes, and reporting any corruption-related activities to the concerned authorities.
The event highlighted the Tirunelveli District Police’s dedication to integrity, accountability, and public welfare, reaffirming their commitment to building a corruption-free society.
