Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, June 7, 2025: In recognition of their exemplary service in crime prevention and timely arrests, several police officers from Tirunelveli district were awarded and praised for their commendable efforts.
Acting on proactive intelligence gathering and swift enforcement, the officers successfully apprehended criminals before crimes could be committed, showcasing sharp vigilance and dedication to duty.
Among those recognized were:
- Police Inspectors: G. R. Stephen Jose, Sasikumar, and Kala
- Assistant Inspectors: Sudhan, Thiru Selvaraj, and Karthik
Their outstanding performance earned them a cash reward, announced by the Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order). A total of 17 police personnel were selected for this reward based on their recent achievements in policing.
The awards were personally handed over by District Superintendent of Police N. Silambarasan, who appreciated the officers for their professionalism, timely action, and commitment to public safety. He encouraged them to continue setting high standards in policing and serving as role models for others in the force.
