Hyderabad, Telangana, October 31, 2025: In a swift and commendable operation, the Tolichowki Police Station team under the South West Zone of Hyderabad City Police successfully detected and solved a murder case (Cr. No. 205/2025 U/s 103 BNS) within 24 hours, apprehending the accused involved in the heinous crime.
The deceased, Mohd. Muzzamil alias Ayub (25 years), an auto driver and resident of Hakeempet, was found dead inside his auto near the SS Function Hall, Tolichowki, on October 30, 2025. Following the receipt of a complaint, a special team was immediately formed to investigate the incident.
Through prompt and professional investigation, the accused, Mohammed Ishaque alias Khalid (26 years), an electrician from Shaheen Nagar, was identified and arrested. Investigation revealed that both the deceased and the accused had consumed liquor together on the night of the incident. A dispute arose between them over a mobile phone, and in a fit of rage, the accused strangulated the deceased with a cord, leading to his death.
The police swiftly apprehended the accused at Tolichowki and seized one Vivo mobile phone belonging to the deceased along with the auto rickshaw used during the incident.
The case was meticulously investigated by Inspector of Police Sri L. Ramesh Naik and his team, under the direct supervision of Sri Syed Faiz, ACP, Tolichowki Division, and overall guidance of Sri G. Chandra Mohan, DCP, South West Zone, Hyderabad City Police.
