Delhi : The Bharat Jodo Yatra was started by the Indian National Congress. This will resume at around 10 Hours from Marghat Wale Baha, Hanuman Mandir near Red Fort on 3.1.2023 and proceed further via Iron Bridge- turn left- Shastri park metro station- Old GT Road- Furniture Market- Y Point Dharmapura( G T Road)- turn right- Ansari Road- Slip Road- turn left- 66 Futa Road- Manjpur- Babarpur- Gokalpuri- T- point- turn righ- Wazirabad Road- Gokalpuri Police Station- Loni round about- turn left towards Loni border and will reach Lono border at about 12 hours.A large number of pedestrians and vehicles are expected to join the yatra at various points along the route.The affected roads and Points are: Shyam Prasad Mukherjee Road(SPM)- Kodiya Pul point, Chatta Rail Chowk point, Kalkatiya Gate point. Netaji Subhash Marg(NS Marg) Road- Red Fort Chowk point, T Point Subhash Marg point. Lothian Road- GPO, Kashmiri Gate point, Kela Ghat point. Ring Road/ Mahatma Gandhi Marg(MGM Marg) Road- Mangi Bridge point, Nigam Bodh Ghat point.
Road from Hanuman Mandir to Old Iron Bridge via underpass Yamuna bazaar- Nigam Bodh Ghat slip road point, Golden Jubli Park cut point. Old Iron Bridge Road- Entry and exit points Yamuna Bazaar and Shastri Park side points. Geeta Colony Road/Pusta Road- T Point shamshan ghat point, APoint towards Iron Bridge point, Old Iron Bridge Pusta Road T- Point. Ansari Road- Furniture Market- point, Pusta Road- Ansari Road T- Point. GT Road- Y Point Dharampura Road, T Point Seelampur Red Light point. Jafarbad Main Road/Asha Ram Tyagi Marg/ 66 Foota Road- Maha Mandir T Point, Loha market Nali puliya point, Lakdi market Nali puliya point, Welcome Puliya point, Masjid Noorum Nali T Point, Jaffrabad Metro Station point, Babarpur Main Road T Point, Maujpur Xing point, Maujpur Metro Station point, Kardampuri Pulia T Point. 100 Foota Road- From Durgapuri Chowk to Babarpur Maujpur Road point. Wazirbad Road- 66 ft. Road- Wazirabad Road T Point, Loni Gol Chakkar point. Loni Road- Shiv Vihar Metro Station point.
Traffic is expected to remain heavy from Chhata Rail Chowk, Red Fort, SPM Marg, Old Iron Bridge, Pusta Road, Ansari Road on GT Road from Yudhishtir Seetu to Seelampur T- Point, Shahdra Flyover to Loni Gol Chakkar on Wazirabad Road and Loni Road. Commuters are requested to co-operate avoiding/ bypassing the affected roads if possible and make maximum use of public transport to ensure a pleasant journey. There will be graded and dynamic diversion to ensure smooth traffic management and facilitate commuters while ensuring safety of pedestrians on roads.
