Greater Chennai: The Chennai Traffic Police said attention drivers! Please be advised of a potential traffic diversion in the coming days. The Highway Department has announced that they will be conducting storm water drainage road cut and culvert construction work at Thuraipakkam Junction, located near BSR Mall on OMR. This construction work is expected to start on April 27th, 2023 and continue until May 26th, 2023.
During this time, there may be changes to the normal flow of traffic in the affected area. Please plan your travel accordingly and be prepared for possible delays. We encourage all drivers to exercise caution and adhere to the instructions given by traffic police officials in order to ensure the safety of all motorists and construction workers involved. All motorists are requested to cooperate during the work period.
