Chandigarh: On 12th February 2024, as part of the 35th National Road Safety Month observed by Chandigarh Traffic Police from 15th January to 14th February 2024, a special awareness drive on proper parking was conducted at Sec-42 (Attawa) & Sec-43, Chandigarh. During this event, the Cycle Safety Squad and Road Safety Awareness Team of Chandigarh Traffic Police implemented a special initiative to enhance the visibility of cyclists, rickshaw, and rehri users during night hours by affixing red and yellow reflective tape on their bicycles, rickshaws, and rehris, aiming to reduce collisions and improve safety for all road users.
