Chhattisgarh, Raipur: A two-day specialized training program aimed at enhancing the capacity of law enforcement officials in combating cybercrime successfully concluded in Raipur under the “STATE CONNECT PROGRAMME” initiated by the Home Ministry. The program was organized by the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Center (I4C) at the Police Headquarters, with the Director General of Police, Shri Arun Dev Gautam, presiding as the chief guest.
The training program focused on equipping police officers with advanced knowledge and techniques for the effective prevention, investigation, and prosecution of cybercrimes. Various modules covered emerging threats in the digital space, legal frameworks, digital forensics, cyber intelligence, and real-time case studies to enhance practical understanding.
Director I4C, Shri Badal Kaushik, along with his expert team, led the training sessions, imparting critical insights to a total of 129 officers and personnel. This included 8 Additional Superintendents of Police and 25 Deputy Superintendents of Police representing different districts of the state. The training provided hands-on experience and technical know-how to bolster the state police force’s efficiency in tackling cybercrimes.
The initiative is part of a broader effort by the Home Ministry to strengthen cyber law enforcement across states, ensuring that officers are well-prepared to address the evolving challenges posed by digital crimes. The program is expected to enhance coordination among law enforcement agencies and improve the overall cybercrime response mechanism within the state.
