Odisha: The Director-General of Police Mr. Abhay IPS has given the travel Advisory for 22, 23, and 24 June 2020. During this period vehicular traffic will not be permitted into Puri district from 9 PM of 22 June to 2 PM of 24 June except for vehicles on Government duty, Police, and Emergency Services. All are requested to co-operate with the police.
This decision has been taken as the Rathyatra is being conducted at the above-mentioned location until 2 PM on June 24, 2020. It is mandatory to follow the order to facilitate the smooth movement of the Rathyatra. Once the Rathyatra has been completed and the road has become free for vehicular traffic the police will release the route for normal traffic.
