Ramanathapuram: On May 23, 2024, a significant tree planting initiative took place at Ulagapatti Police Station. This event was organized and led by two prominent officials: Deputy Superintendent Mr. Durai IPS of the Ramanathapuram Commodity Police Department, and Deputy Superintendent of Police Mr. Athmanathan from the Tiruppathur Sub Division. The program aimed to enhance the local environment and promote sustainability by planting numerous saplings within the police station premises. Both officials actively participated in the planting process, emphasizing the importance of environmental conservation and community involvement in such green initiatives.
