Rachakonda: Mr. M. Mahesh Bhagwat IPS Commissioner of Police, today in a press release congratulated Mr. N. Bhujangarao ACP Bhonagir and Mr. Shaik Sadiq Ali Sub-Inspector of Police SB Rachakonda who have been awarded the prestigious Indian Police Medal for their distinguished services in Police.
Mr. M.Mahesh Bhagwat IPS recalled the heinous rape and murder cases of three minor girls of Hazipur village of Bommalaramaram Mandal, investigation of which has been entrusted to Mr. N Bhujanga Rao ACP Bhonagir. The ACP conducted the investigation in a highly exceptional manner and completed the investigation of these three cases in a record period of three months and filed charge sheets. Moreover, he personally attended the trial at Nalgonda and ensured completion of trial within (4) months, and the accused was convicted of dual death in two cases and life imprisonment in one case.
Mr. Bhujanga Rao was appointed as Sub Inspector of police in 1991, was promoted as Inspector in 2005 and as Assistant Commissioner of Police in 2014. Previously, he was awarded AP Police Sevapathakm and Telangana State Uttama Sevapathakams for his meritorious service. He got (41 )cash rewards, (74) GSEs (3) MSES, and (6 )Commendations during his service.
The Commissioner of Police Rachakonda also congratulated the other IPM awardee Mr. Shaik Sadiq Ali, Sub-Inspector of Police, now working in Special Branch, Rachakonda. He was appointed as Police Constable (Civil) in 1983, promoted as Head Constable in 2006, as Assistant Sub-Inspector in 2014 and then as Sub-Inspector. He is always duty minded and showed his mettle in all branches of police work. He played a vital role in the apprehension of criminals risking his personal, sacrificing his comforts richly deserves recognition, in appreciation of his excellent work.
Earlier also he achieved 80 Cash, 26 GSE Rewards, 5 Appreciations, 1 Seva Patakam for good work done in crime, law & order, Special Branch, etc.,
