Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu: Tirunelveli City Police Commissioner Dr. N. Manivannan, IPS, flagged off a road safety awareness rally on January 31, 2026. The rally proceeded from Palayamkottai bus stand to the Town Arch. The Police Commissioner distributed saplings to those who wore helmets and offered advice and helmets to those who were not wearing them. Assistant Commissioners of Police, Inspectors, police personnel, and others participated in the event.
