The Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad, addressed the gathering and highlighted the challenges faced not only by various government departments but also by the general public due to the unchecked use of DJ systems and firecrackers during religious processions in Hyderabad. He stressed the difficulties in police bandobust caused by excessively loud sound systems, which disrupt communication, and the hazards posed by the uncontrolled use of firecrackers. The use of DJ systems has also contributed to serious health issues among the public.
The CP, Hyderabad, made it clear that strict legal action will be taken against individuals violating the regulations regarding the use of DJ systems and fireworks during religious processions.
All speakers acknowledged the gravity of the issue and supported preventive measures. Organizers of various religious processions also shared their views, agreeing to conduct awareness campaigns and encourage devotees to celebrate festivals peacefully and in a more spiritual manner.
