The name of the organization is the Uttarakhand Police Department. The name of the vacant posts are SI, ASI, Head Constable, and Constable. The official website is www.uttarakhandpolice.uk.gov.in. The number of Posts and the date of commencement of application forms will soon be notified.
The educational qualification required for the various posts is given below. For Constable, the candidate should be 12th. Class pass. For Head Constable, the candidate should be 12th. Class pass. For Sub Inspector (SI) the candidate should possess a graduation degree in any discipline. For Home Guard, the candidate should be 10th class pass. For Assistant Sub-Inspector the candidate should possess a graduation degree in any discipline.
The minimum age for the post of Constable is 18 years and the maximum age is 22 years. For ASI the minimum age limit is 20 years and the maximum is 28 years. For ACP and DSP the minimum age limit is 21 years and the maximum is 42 years.
The pay scale for the various posts are, for Constable it is Rs.5200 – 20200 +Grade Pay: Rs.1800, For Head Constable it is Rs.5200 – 20200 + Grade Pay: Rs.2000, For Assistant Sub- Inspector it is Rs.9300 – 34800 + Grade Pay: Rs.4800, For Sub- Inspector it is Rs.9300 – 34800 + Grade Pay: Rs.4800
The physical eligibility required for both the male and female candidates are given. For the males, the candidates should be 168cms tall, Chest should be 81-86cms and the weight should be depending on the height. For females, the candidates should be 157 cms tall and the minimum weight of the candidate should be 40 Kg.
