Almora: In the Lamgada area of Almora District, Vijay Kumar, alias Vicky, found himself in police custody merely three hours after the First Information Report (FIR) was lodged. The charges against him involve forcefully gaining access to a local grocery shop by breaking the lock and pilfering an assortment of household goods. Among the stolen items were mustard oil, paint, tea leaves, and beedis.
