Vijayawada City: On 5.3.2022 an innovative job fair was organized by Vijayawada City Police under the auspices of Vijayawada City Police to provide employment to those who want change from the abused youth and unemployed youth.
Vijayawada City Police Commissioner Mr. Kanti Rana Tata, IPS has directed the Vijayawada City Police Commissionerate to make Vijayawada a safer and more crime free city within the Vijayawada City Police Commissionerate for those who have been convicted in various cases of aggravated assault as per the directions of the Vijayawada City Police Commissioner. On this occasion, West Zone DCP. Mr. Baburao, IPS under the supervision of Gary, Vijayawada Police Department and Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation jointly organized an innovative “Job Mela” on 5.3.2022 at Shadikhana Functions under Ajitsingh Nagar Police Station from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm with the aim of identifying those who are determined to change their past abuses and provide them with a better future was maintained for hours. Vijayawada City Police Commissioner Mr. Kanti Rana Tata, IPS, Mr. Malladi Vishnuvardhan, Central Constituency MLAs were the chief guests at the event and inaugurated the job fair.
Leading private companies in this job fair are Varun Motors, Icom Express, Kallam Textiles, Swiggy, Mohan Spin India Limited, V.M. Bakery Products, Baijus, Winnow Source Services Pvt. Finance Pvt. Ltd., Good Worker Technologies, Master Minds Group of Schools, a total of 1288 job vacancies were selected for the job fair.
Dhanalakshmi Bank Contribution: CCTV cameras play an important role in crime control, arresting and maintaining peace in Vijayawada. Therefore, Vijayawada City Police Commissioner Mr. Kanti Rana Tata, IPS, has taken special care in setting up CCTV cameras after assuming office and about 700 CCTV cameras have been installed so far. As many as 300 CCTV cameras have been set up in the North Division. Mr. K. Satyanarayana, Assistant General Manager, Dhanlaxmi Bank, Vijayawada, North Division, The cameras and barricades were set up voluntarily under the CSR funds given to the Vijayawada City Police Commissioner during the event.
The chief guests who came to the event said that every single youth can achieve their goal if they study hard to achieve their goal, watching movies, going for walks with friends, watching cell phones and working hard for about 8 to 10 hours a day to reach their intended destination without wasting time. He told the youth that if they study hard for 4 or 5 years now then you do not have to look back and your life will be in your hands till 60 years.
On this occasion, for the first time, this job was jointly organized by the Vijayawada Police Department and the Andhra Pradesh State Skills Development Corporation for the employment of well-behaved sheeters in the Vijayawada West Zone, North Divisions, Ajit Singh Nagar and Satyanarayanapuram Police Stations, as well as educated and illiterate young men and women from post-graduation. The Mela was attended by 48 people with a police record who had a previous criminal history, 31 of whom were selected from various companies and 898 unemployed young men and women. The nominees will be nominated by the City Police Commissioner and the Central MLA. The offer letter was handed over by Gary.
The young women and men who participated in the job fair on this occasion said the job fair is being organized by the Vijayawada Police Department under the auspices of the Vijayawada Police Department to bring about change in those who commit various crimes, identify those who are virtuous and provide them with a livelihood and prevent them from going the wrong way again. We would like to thank the Commissioner of Police and the Skill Development Officers and the Government for providing us with employment.
