Vijayawada City: Andhra Pradesh Police created a Green Channel to rush an oxygen tanker to save 400 lives. DGP Mr. Gautam Sawang IPS commended the quick response time shown by Vijayawada City Police in tracing and transporting the oxygen tanker to Government General Hospital Vijayawada.
The Government General Hospital Vijayawada lost contact with the tracking system of the tanker carrying 18 tons of oxygen. All the routes from Odisha to Vijayawada were alerted and it was traced in East Godavari. A Green Channel was set up for the tanker along with an escort to ensure it reached on time.
