Vijayawada: Deputy Commissioner of Police Mr. Vishal Gunni I.P.S. held a crime review meeting with East Zone police officers.
On 27.7.2022 Deputy Commissioner of Police Mr. Vishal Gunni I.P.S along with Assistant Commissioners of Police of Central and South Divisions under East Zone along with Inspectors and SIs in the office of Commissioner of Police, NTR District held a criminal review meeting.
On this occasion, East Zone Deputy Police Commissioner said actions should be taken to reduce the number of pending cases as per the directives of the City Police Commissioner. Receptionists should treat the complainants who come to the police station with courtesy. All the staff were directed to show better performance in their duties.
The East Zone Deputy Police Commissioner ordered to investigate women related cases without any laxity and avoid eve teasing of women anywhere. Special vigilance was ordered against blade batch, cannabis users and sellers. He said that regular foot patrolling should be conducted and surveillance should be established on suspicious persons. In this meeting, South A.C.P. Dr. B. Ravi Kiran Garu, Disha A.CP. Mr. V.V. Naidu, C.C.R.B.A.C.P. Mr. K. Venkateswara Rao, Inspectors and SIs of East Zone participated.
