Villupuram, Tamil Nadu: In a proud achievement for the district police, the Villupuram All Women Police Station secured first place at the state level in the prestigious Kalaignar Police Trophy 2025, instituted to recognize outstanding performance among All Women Police Stations across Tamil Nadu.
The award was presented by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, M. K. Stalin, who felicitated Police Inspector Mariasophie Manjula with a gold medal in recognition of the station’s exemplary service.
The police station earned the top honour for its remarkable work in ensuring women’s safety, effective crime prevention measures, prompt investigation of cases, and strengthening social security initiatives.
This achievement reflects the dedication and professionalism of the Villupuram district police in promoting women-friendly policing and building public trust through responsive and compassionate law enforcement.
