Bihar: On October 10, 2024, a grand closing ceremony was organized at the prestigious Sardar Patel Bhawan auditorium to mark the conclusion of the VIP Security Personal Security Officer (PSO) course training for Bihar State Auxiliary Police (BSAP) personnel. The event witnessed the presence of several distinguished dignitaries and senior police officers, highlighting the significance of the occasion. The Chief Guest, Director General of Police, Bihar, Mr. Alok Raj, graced the ceremony alongside notable figures such as Mr. Bhrigu Srinivasan, Director General of Police, National Security Guard (NSG), and Mr. AK Ambedkar, Director General of Police, BSAP, among other senior officials.
During this specialized training program, a total of 201 BSAP personnel, comprising 172 men and 29 women, were meticulously trained in the VIP Security PSO course. This rigorous and comprehensive course was conducted under the expert guidance of highly skilled trainers from the National Security Guard (NSG), known for their expertise in counter-terrorism and close protection duties. The trainees underwent intensive instruction and practical exercises designed to equip them with the knowledge and skills required to provide high-level security to VIPs, manage complex security scenarios, and effectively respond to potential threats.
The closing ceremony, held in an atmosphere of pride and accomplishment, recognized the dedication and hard work of the trainees, who now stand prepared to take on the critical responsibilities of VIP protection. The event not only highlighted the collaboration between BSAP and NSG but also underscored the importance of advanced training in enhancing the security apparatus of Bihar.
