Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh: The Visakhapatnam Range Police Department has recorded remarkable success in its sustained efforts to eradicate marijuana and other narcotic substances and to build a drug-free society during the year 2025.
In a statement issued on this occasion, the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Visakhapatnam Range, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the general public, youth, and all cooperating departments for their active participation and unwavering support. The DIG emphasized that the fight against drugs is not one that the police can win alone.
Highlighting the importance of collective responsibility, the DIG stated that a drug-free society is possible only through public cooperation, youth participation, and coordinated action among all departments. The success achieved so far stands as a strong example of effective police–public partnership.
