Greater Chennai: A 48-year-old woman of Mylapore, who had separated from her husband due to a difference of opinion, is living in her mother’s house for the past 20 years. Her brother Annamalai (M/40) also lives in the same house, who didn’t get married. On 25.08.2021, the woman lodged a complaint at W-22 Mylapore AWPS stating that her brother Annamalai, under drunkenness, frequently used quarrel and sexually harass her. A case was registered at W-22 Mylapore AWPS.
A team led by the Inspector of Police, W-22 Mylapore AWPS investigated the case and arrested Annamalai (M/40) of Mylapore. Legal action was pursued against him.
