Washermenpet: On 13.09.2021, Mahavir, (M/48) of Old Washermenpet lodged a complaint at H-1 Washermenpet Police Station, stating that his two-wheeler parked in front of his house was stolen by some unknown person.
A team led by the Inspector of Police (crime) H-1 Washermenpet Police Station investigated the case with the help of CCTV footage and arrested the accused Veeraperumal (M/23) of Madurai, Kishore (M/20) of Royapuram, and Mohamed Aaron Rashid (M/24) of Pudupet.
Investigation revealed that the three persons were involved in two-wheeler theft and mobile snatching offenses in Old Washermenpet and surrounding areas. 4 two wheelers and 17 cell phones were recovered from them. Legal action was pursued against them.
