Kerala, Wayanad: In relation to the upcoming by-elections in the Wayanad Parliamentary Constituency, a coordinated route march was undertaken by the Central Army in collaboration with the Kerala Police. This extensive march covered multiple areas within the jurisdiction of various police stations across the district, specifically in the regions of Khingadav, Pothukal, Edakkara, Nilambur, Pookottumpadam, Kalikav, Karuvarakkund, Edavanna, Areekode, Kondotti, and Vandur. The joint exercise was designed to ensure heightened security, reassure the public, and maintain law and order in preparation for the by-elections, reflecting a combined effort by central and local law enforcement to foster a secure environment across the constituency.
