Wayanad, Kerala, September 29: On the occasion of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s 150th Birth Anniversary (National Unity Day), Wayanad District Police organized a marathon from Kakkavayal Jawan Smriti Mandapam to Kalpetta New Bus Stand.
The event, which saw the participation of around 60 runners, was flagged off by District Police Chief Taposh Basumatari, IPS. Additional SP N.R. Jayaraj, DySPs K.K. Abdul Sharif and P.L. Shaiju, Inspectors S.H.O. Shaju Joseph, A.U. Jayaprakash, Santosh Kumar, Janamaithri ADNO K. Sasidharan, SP CADNO K. Mohandas, and other officers also took part.
