Kurnool: On Tuesday, a traffic awareness program was organized near Kurnool Konda Reddy Buruj in the city.
District SP Mr. Siddharth Kaushal IPS attended and spoke in this program. Kurnool will be made a safe city. We will serve the people of the district better. We will take steps to ensure safety without insecurity. Modern high quality personal kits (cowboy hat, sunglasses, rest chair) were handed over to Kurnool Traffic Police by Mr. Siddharth Kaushal IPS, District SP for traffic regulation in Kurnool city.
In the coming days, steps will be taken to increase the number of CCTV cameras in Kurnool town. People’s help will also be taken.
He said that after studying the traffic police working in the big cities, along with them, the Kurnool traffic police have also been given modern high quality police kits.
He said that the Kurnool traffic police force has been increased from 64 to 120. High power loudspeakers have been installed at 34 important traffic points and important junctions like those in Kurnool district.
Along with traffic enforcement, steps have been taken to create awareness about traffic. Black spots have also been identified.
Police patrolling will be increased in Kurnool town and suburbs where there is a sense of insecurity. Patrolling of crime hot spots will also be increased. He said that the police system will take measures to provide good service to the people.
