In an extensive effort, security forces meticulously conducted search operations in the fringe and vulnerable areas spanning Imphal East, Churachandpur, Imphal West, Kakching, and Thoubal districts. These operations yielded a significant haul, including 11 firearms, 20 rounds of ammunition, 2 kilograms of gunpowder, 1 51 mm Mortar, 1 36 HE Hand Grenade, 10 improvised mortars (Pumpi), and 2 radio sets. These recoveries were distributed across Imphal East, Churachandpur, and Thoubal districts, showcasing the thoroughness and effectiveness of the operations.
