Hyderabad: The Falaknuma Police demonstrated swift action and successfully foiled a carefully planned murder conspiracy. They apprehended a gang of four individuals near Zaitun Hotel, Nagulabanda, Hyderabad, effectively preventing a heinous crime from taking place. The police seized three sickles, three knives, two motorcycles, and two cell phones as crucial evidence at the scene.
The accused individuals involved in the crime:
Meer Ashfaq Ali, also known as Amer Khan, is 27 years old and works in the business sector. He resides in Farooq Nagar, Hyderabad.
Mohd Subhan Khan, also known as Subhani, is 19 years old and employed as a denter. He resides in Ghazi Banda, Kala Pather, Hyderabad.
Mohammed Jameel Khan, also known as Khaja Khan, is 19 years old and works as a carpenter. He resides in Bhagath Singh Nagar, Saroor Nagar, RR District.
Additionally, some individuals are currently on the run and are considered absconding accused: Farhan, Imran, and Chota Farhan.
During the operation, the police confiscated the following items: Three sickles, Three knives, Two motorcycles, and Two cell phones.
The motive behind the crime can be traced back to a conflict involving the prime accused, Meer Ashfaq Ali alias Amer Khan, who hails from Farooq Nagar, Hyderabad. Several months ago, a minor altercation occurred between Meer Ashfaq Ali and his brother-in-law, Nazim alias Ishan, over a trivial matter. As a result of the altercation, Meer Ashfaq Ali physically assaulted Nazim, which subsequently led to Nazim defaming Meer Ashfaq Ali within their local community.
Moreover, Meer Ashfaq Ali harbored suspicions that Nazim had subjected his wife to black magic, causing frequent arguments and strife within their marital relationship. Fueled by these grievances, Meer Ashfaq Ali resolved to eliminate Nazim. To execute his plan, he sought the assistance of his associates, including Farhan, Subhan Khan, Jameel Khan, Imran, Chota Farhan, and BJ. The group collectively conspired to carry out the murder of Nazim alias Ishan.
On the fateful day of June 24, 2023, at 15:30 hours, the accused individuals clandestinely assembled near Zaitun Hotel in Farooq Nagar, Hyderabad. They were equipped with three sickles and three knives, intending to execute their nefarious plan. However, their criminal activities were promptly intercepted and thwarted by the vigilant Falaknuma Police, who swiftly apprehended the accused and seized the aforementioned weapons and other items.
Subsequently, a case was registered against the accused individuals under Cr. No. 175/2023, invoking relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code, including 120-B (criminal conspiracy), 149 (unlawful assembly), and 511 (attempt to commit an offense). Additionally, Section 25(1)(A) of the Arms Act was applied due to the possession of deadly weapons. The arrested individuals are scheduled to be presented before the Honorable Court for judicial remand.
The successful operation was carried out under the meticulous supervision of Mr. Shaik Jahangir, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, who oversees the Falaknuma Division. The law enforcement team involved in the operation included Mr. S. Raghavendra, Inspector of Police at Falaknuma Police Station, Mr. B. Ravi Kumar and Mr. M. Nagaraju, Sub-Inspectors of Police, along with their dedicated team members, namely Mr. Mohd Riyazuddin.
