Bhadradri Kothagudem: District SP Mr. Sunil Dutt IPS in the Bhadradri Kothagudem district advised people that they should be wearing a mask or fine will be imposed on them. Releasing a press release from the SP’s office on Tuesday, he said that the public should be responsible for controlling the spread of coronavirus which is spreading day by day. Anyone who disobeys government orders and refuses to wear them will be fined in accordance with the Disaster Management Act 51 (b).
The SP said that from now on in the Bodhradri Kothagudem district, all the police stations will be open, as well as major vehicle checks in major quarters, bus stands, railway stations, and business complexes will be undertaken. He said that 632 cases have already been registered against those who violate the COVID-19 rules throughout the district and 2911 persons who are not wearing masks have been fined. Therefore, the people of the district are urged to cooperate with the police in their efforts to prevent the spread of coronavirus. It is suggested that a case will be filed against the group if any activities or functions are conducted in groups without the permission of the concerned authorities. The authorities have not given permission for any other activities except for weddings. Therefore, as part of the prevention of coronavirus outbreaks, the people of the district have urged by the police to cooperate so as not to mobilize more people.
