<![CDATA[West Bengal: Two teenaged sisters were found murdered under mysterious circumstance on Thursday night in West Bengal’s Birbhum district. The mother Aparna Sadhu claimed that when she entered her house, she found her daughters lying in a pool of blood with their throats slit. The Birbhum district police registered a murder case and it was handed over to the CID. The CID officers interrogated the mother over two days and concluded that the mother had murdered the two daughters. She reportedly feared that they would spill the beans about her illicit relationship. “The two daughters had learnt about their mother’s relationship outside the marriage. Fearing that they would break the news to her husband and others, she decided to kill them along with the help of her boyfriend Chandi Charan Laha,” said a senior police officer. He added, “We questioned her for two long days and amidst the questioning, she tried to blame her in-laws for having committed the crime. After even more grilling, she broke down and admitted to have committed the murder of her two daughters.” On Saturday afternoon, the Birbhum district police arrested Sadhu and slapped charges of murder on her. Meanwhile, the police have begun a search for her accomplice, who helped her commit the crime.]]>
