West Jaintia Hills: The SP West Jaintia Hills Mr. Bikram D. Marak, MPS said a new scam is coming now. In the pretext of booking vehicles, the fraudsters start calling the tourist vehicle agents and ask for their bank account details for the advance transfer of money. In turn, they hack the bank account of the agents and draw their money.
The SP has requested all the general citizens to kindly refrain from answering or responding to such calls. If such type of call you have received stay safe and be smart and do not allow them to cheat you.
