Telangana, Hyderabad: Acting on a tip-off, officers from the Commissioner’s Task Force, West Zone, Hyderabad, raided two illegal gaming houses located within the jurisdictions of Jubilee Hills and Film Nagar Police Stations. A total of 13 individuals, including two organizers, were apprehended.
Yennapusula Malla Reddy, Age: 35 (Gaming House at Film Nagar PS) and Mohammed Nayeemuddin, Age: 63 (Gaming House at Jubilee Hills PS) are the Organizers.
About the Raid:
The West Zone Task Force conducted midnight raids on two locations operating as illegal gaming houses, resulting in the apprehension of 13 individuals. During the operation, playing cards and cash totaling Rs.1,33,990/- were seized. The seized items and respondents have been handed over to the respective local police stations for further action.
Notably, organizer Yennapusula Malla Reddy had previously been apprehended for illegal gaming activities on 08-07-2024 within the Jubilee Hills Police Station limits.
The operation was conducted under the supervision of Inspector E. Jangaiah, Sub-Inspector G. Naveen, and the West Zone Task Force Team of the Hyderabad Commissioner’s Task Force.
