Ernakumam: It was through the loop holed investigation of the police that they were able to trap the accused in the witchcraft murder case. As soon as a complaint was received about the disappearance of Padma, who used to sell lottery tickets in Ernakulam South and Shenayes Junction, an investigation was started about those related to her. In the meantime, it came to know that a complaint was received about a woman named Rosli missing in Kaladi too. This complaint and investigation was combined with the further investigation which was brought to Mohammad Shafi, Bhagwalsingh and his wife Laila. When the accused were caught and interrogated, the mystery of the sorcery murder unfolded.
