<![CDATA[Cyberabad Commissioner of Police Mr. V.C. Sajjanar, who assumed charge on Wednesday, told that apart from basic policing and implementing technology initiatives, he has eight issues in his priority list that includes women and child safety, people-friendly policing and road safety. He told that special focus would be on cyber crimes and human trafficking. The Commissioner said“As a large number of IT companies are under Cyberabad limits, we will focus on providing a safe environment for women working in these companies". The Cyberabad police would also focus on crime hot spots and curb chain snatching and other offenses. “We will create awareness on prevention of economic and white-collar offenses and lay focus on speedy disposal of court cases,” he said. Mr. Sajjanar, an IGP-rank officer, succeeds Mr.Sandeep Shandilya, who was promoted and posted as Additional Director General of Police, Railways and Road Safety. A 1996-batch IPS officer, he has served as IGP in Intelligence Department, and prior to that, he was DIG of the same wing.]]>
