Kochi: The Smart Police Kiosk, an ally of the Kerala Police, has been set up in Kochi to provide police assistance in cases where women are unable to lodge a complaint directly at the police station or in need of emergency police assistance.
Since the computer smart police at KIOSK is connected to the KIOSK control center via the Internet, women complain to the female police officer at the control center at the touch screen in KIOSK as soon as they touch a finger. That being said, KIOSKs are unique in that they maintain privacy. DGP Mr. Loknath Behra IPS inaugurated the KIOSK in front of the police club near the Kerala High Court via video conference.
