Mysuru: On 19-06-2021, the Vanamahotsava program was held in KPA to observe World Environment day celebration. Mr. T. Hiralaal IFS, CCF Mysuru, and Dr. Prashant Kumar, IFS, DCF, Mysuru were chief guests. They inaugurated the program by planting tree saplings near the new auditorium. Others who have participated are Mr. Srikant Urs, Vaanivilaasa education board secretary, Mr. Mrutynjaya, AEE, MCC, Ms. Sridevi, and Mr. Mohan, Environmental Engineers, MCC. Around 100 tree saplings were planted both in East and West campuses by the guests, Director, Faculty members of KPA, and probationers of 43rd batch Sub-Inspectors and 35th batch DySP and DySEs.
In the stage program distinguished guests have spoken about the importance of conservation of forest and environment, and to reduce pollutions of different types. MCC Engineers have presented a PPT about how the measures are taken by MCC in waste management and maintaining a clean and green environment in Mysuru. Director, KPA Mr. Vipulkumar, IPS delivered the presidential address. The whole program lasted for more than two hours from 16:00 hours to 18:30 hours.
