Srikakulam: On the morning of Friday, June 21, in observance of International Yoga Day, a well-organized yoga program took place at the Etcherla District Armed Reserve Police Ground. This initiative was meticulously orchestrated under the guidance of District SP Mrs. G.R. Radhika, IPS. The District SP took the opportunity to underscore the profound significance and essential nature of yoga, advocating that dedicating regular time to yoga can significantly enhance immunity, prevent illnesses, alleviate mental stress, and promote greater mental equilibrium.
Joining in this meaningful event was Additional SP G. Prem Kajal, alongside other esteemed officers and dedicated police personnel. They actively participated in the yoga session, contributing to the spirit of health and wellness fostered by this occasion.
Furthermore, throughout the district, police officers and personnel also conducted similar yoga sessions at various police stations. This widespread participation not only highlighted the commitment of law enforcement to physical and mental well-being but also served to inspire and encourage broader community involvement in yoga practices.
